I got into a car with a total stranger of whom I knew absolutely nothing, not even what he looked like or his name, for an insanely long drive?

That would been on the Greyhound bus in 1999 :-P

A flight once coming home from Melbourne after a meet and greet... Lucky I got a later flight though.
have a safe drive. I'm hoping 2016 will be a year of many fists for me

Was 1991..I drove from Brisbane to Sydney with a man I had just met the day before...we even had a stopover at a motel overnight..he was a very interesting man but sadly he was also a Buddhist monk 😒🎅xxFreya

I've hitchhiked, and picked up hitchhikers.

Once because I missed the last train back home after a party (in other cases I just drive). Damn lack of overnight train or bus services! Although thankfully they have recently added two on Fri and Sat nights (read: mornings after).

They wouldn't do reseat you on a later flight? who were you flying, Tiger?
I've asked for directions in Auckland and the lovely lady said "just hop in, it's easier than explaining" - but I've only ever deliberately hitchhiked once in Queenstown when I missed the last bus up to Coronet - but that is only a 15 or 20 minute drive. I can't imagine ever wanting to get in the car with someone I didn't know for a 9 hour drive.
I wouldn't want to get in the car that long with someone I _did_ know.
I wonder if anyone took up the offer.

I met that lady in Perth airport once, we had a beer, I kissed her and we went directly to the public toilet to have deep sex..

Airports are always great places to meet interesting and open minded people 😉
