  Hi Pinky’s congrats on a great first post and we find ourselves in a similar situation and we have not been able to solve the issues you present here. We think the scene in Australia is much more difficult than what we have experienced in Europe and what we have heard in the US.
  Overseas things seem far more open and swinging is far more acceptable by more people.. There are so many holiday destinations you can choose where you’re assured of a high number of swinger friendly people.
  In Oz we have a smaller population, big distances and a culture that still views swinging as something that should be hidden and not talked about. We think this results in people being less relaxed about just socialising to find the right connections, instead the expectation is more to meet and fuck if the requisite photo swap is positive.
  So what do we do?
  We enjoy a dance so do attend some events and enjoy them but find people are less into just a fun night getting to know people and more laser focused on only talking to those they want to fuck. Last event we met a lovely Californian woman who expressed the same views saying in America nearly every nightclub is a potential swingers event and people just socialise more broadly and if connections are made then play occurs more organically.
  Now to be fair, this is just how we are and we do see people having success so ymmv. We wish you luck xxx
