  I don't think there's a work around for that. I think the results are just based on people's preferences of gender and age.
  
  You'd just have to check when you go to the profile. I think the best way is to quickly flick through profiles, like the ones that match and block the ones that don't. Then go to your likes and start sending messages.

  In the -your ideal partner section- in your profile settings you can select if you would prefer to meet attached or unattached or have no preference. If you’re still getting other matches maybe it’s because there isn’t enough in your selected criteria so it’s just showing you everything. Good advice from @alexis above, should help narrow it down for you.
