M1 Motorway/F3 Freeway rest stops

Does any dogging still occur at the Hawksbury or Ourimbah Rest Stops on the M1 Motorway.
Have made a few stops on recent trips and its been very quiet.

Am I going at the wrong time, or has the scene along this area died off?
