Losing Interest when I figure them out?

I always wonder, why I am so picky when it comes to people. Sometimes, I like to engage and talk but when I figure them out I’ve lost interest. Maybe I believe the lover must be idealise and overvalued as it clearly reflects on what I wanted to be associated with and I wonder Why I am drawn to rare, strong, self sufficient and powerful reliable men but unavailable. I wish I could be have a simple taste with men.

Maybe you don’t lose interest because you’re “picky.” Maybe you lose interest because curiosity fades once the mystery does.
Sometimes we’re not drawn to people, we’re drawn to the idea of them. And when the illusion settles into something ordinary, the spark goes with it.
It might be about allowing yourself to want someone, who actually chooses you back.

Honestly it depends on what your definition of picky is. If it is about the physical interest will disappear and sometimes very quickly

If you are picky about core value, thoughts on the world and connection of mind etc. Losing interest is not something that generally will happen.

In psychology they call it dismissive-avoidant attachment, and it's something that would be great to work on with a therapist if long term warm and reliable relationships is in your life plans 😊

I think it works both ways also as men get older (well I speak for me) intrigue and unknown is trigger for arousal. It kinda equates with excitement.

Old cliche fuck my brain and you’re in without question.

Dicks pussy breast etc all are nice but everyone has them some nicer than others but if not triggered by the brain they kinda become blurred or non important.

They also become more attractive with intrigue and curiosity

I don’t like the hard to get or treat em mean to keep em keen concept but a fun diversion and interesting topics or a life that is off the norm is fun.
