  It's definitely tough, women and couples getting dozens or even hundreds of messages a day and only enough time to read a few.
  
  That said, fleshing out your bio helps. Case in point, every date I've had and about half of my hookups have been because I'm a nerd that loves board games, it's even how I met my partner and girlfriend.
  
  Help people figure out that you're their type of guy, the numbers still suck but it's an improvement.

  Take out the part in your bio that talks about how hard it is to get a reply...it comes across as whiny.
  
  And as the other commenter said, put more detail in your bio...theres nothing that comes across as interesting

  Read the profile of the person or persons you are sending a message to. Pick out something in the profile and make comment on it. Tell them why you are reaching out to them and what it is that interests you about them,
  
  A hi how are you is lazy and shows lack of initiative and will seldom get a response.
