What advice would you give to a newbie. What are some does and don't. What are your favorite experiences that made you a BDSM fan. What suggestions would you give about finding out what your comfortable and not comfortable with?

I would suggest before anything educate yourself on consent and be informed and educated about the BDSM lifestyle.
A good place to start is by listening to podcasts. My favourite, I highly recommend is "Kuldrin' Krypt ABDSM 101 Podcast".

Don't rush into it, go to munches and events and meet people in the community
