In the vein of a recent post concerning the audacity of people selecting “athletic” for body type and whether or not this should be reserved for those who are indeed athletic or those that fit someone’s list of what an athletic body looks like I, as an amateur sapiosexual have been lamenting why there isn’t a profile field for Intelligence and if there was what should be the choices?

Haha, maybe a good feature would be to have the ability to set a small quiz for someone before they can message you.

I find the different metrics on here a bit ridiculous to be honest. Especially the subjective ones like looks, body type, and personality. I'd say a listing of "very attractive" is less of a measure of ones looks than it is of ones narcissism.

I do think the categories of sexual attraction style could be good though. Then we'd be able to filter for sapiosexual, demisexual, etc.

If you just read somebody's profile, You may get a bit of an indication as the weather or not.

Athletic and Fit have completely different definitions. A gym git person might not be fit enough to play any sports and someone who plays cricket all day might not be defined as fit by you. Similarly, athletic could mean different to different people.

I know of a friend who is a gym freak, fit as a fiddle, but you ask him to play a sports, and he gets tired in 5 mins. So a def of fit and athletic would defer based on their own definitions.

Just my opinion, not trying to argue or debate please.

I’ve found that the most intelligent people, or those at least with high EQ, also tend to be the most modest. They tend to want not to be perceived as an arrogant know it all.

Because of that, I like to look at the people who categorise themselves as ‘average’. (And yes, I get the irony that I’ve put myself in that category).

I agree with Notting Hill and add that those with the athletic body selected are usually not so much and have pictures that don't match their current look. My conservative description of my masculine Dad bod has got me absolutely nowhere but it is way better than being a flog 🤣🤣👌

I think that would be a good thing to have on a person's profile and from knowing you in chat i can see the reason for the question in searching for potential playmates if you had a field which represented "chat personality" and i saw sapiosexual i would deffo send a message as i like chatting and i get turned in by interesting convo :)
