A bold new look for RHP

June 14 2025

Like literally...all the headings are in bold type now. I guess on the upside at least it's not Comic Sans.

What are changes you hope would be implemented in the site. I've seen a few people over various threads say certain things but maybe if they are all in one place they might get noticed...

An interesting one. A couple of days ago I received a message saying you can now modify your home page.
So I did so getting rid of the validations, events etc. awesome as when I went to my home page there was none of that. So I think all good.
Next day I log in and all that shite is back on my home page, fix that issue for starters.
The one thing I wish they still had relating to the forums is the topics list ordered by most recent post. Made it easy to see anything that was recently commented on.
Also forum related that used to be was notification of a comment on your post.
Lastly purely to do with searching on the site. If a profile has not been used in a month or so automatically delete it. I have more than likely written to many women that cease to exist here but did not bother deleting their profile hahaha

Not deleting formatting for forum posts would assist with a more easy and fluid read. I can not remember when they started doing it, because it hasn't always been so. But it is extremely frustrating.

Long posts without any formatting are put in the I can't be bothered basket. I'm here to relax, unwind and socialise. Not to be put through a year 8 poor grammar English exam, that makes you cross-eyed.

I’m blind. Loving the “bold new look “.
    Have pun envy OP.
I like the addition of groups. I like the social side of Rhp so anything that lets me gob off and pretend I have a life is good.

Mandatory verification and an indication of when the person was last logged in.

I'd like to bring into the forums, an edit button where one can edit (say a timeframe within 2mins) of their posts being posted, one can edit. Because sometimes it's not until I've posted something, then I see a spelling error or forgot a comma/full stop (as example).

Have on every profile how long they've been a member, and how.long since they were active. Make that field searchable. For example filter profiles 'who have been active within the last 7 days'

To be 'active' a profile must at least send one message, like, fave, or forum post, or make a comment somewhere on the site within the last 7 days, or their profile greys out with a watermark saying"currently inactive" across it.

Have an option to make your profile invisible to select criteria. For Example, currently you can select to be visible to only matching members, or members you like or fave. Add more options to this! Make my profile invisible to unverified, or unvalidated, or profiles without any pictures.

Make people verify their profile EVERY time they change their profile picture. And make sure they actually look like their picture.

Make all dates visible even if you don't have a date finder up yourself.

Have a profile checkbox 'face photos included in gallery'. If people want privacy, sure hide your face but have an automatic reveal of a face picture upon liking or matching another profile.

And seriously, delete all the fa ke profiles. If someone won't verify within a week of signing up, automatic delete. If they don't upload profile pics or submit a bio, same story. We're seriously wearing out the "block" button lol.

For EVENTS, keep the 'interested' list, but also have a host 'confirmed' list. Where once people pay for their ticket, or the host is certain that member is attending and their place is locked in/reserved.
Again the fa ke profiles flood the events and hit 'interested' on everything. It's actually handy to browse an event and know who's confirmed as attending, as this can encourage others to join the party, or hurry up and secure tickets if they're selling out. Facebook has interested, maybe, and going as options, why not here?

Nothing works on here now...when I go to 'see more' validations from the home page i get "oops error cant find anything here".

When I try to search people in a 100km radius of me it says "no men or women in that area, expand your search (i live in Brisbane city, how can there but no one near me)?

It sucks paying for a membership and not being able to use the 2 features i want to use

When I saw this post I didn’t understand. Then my phone app upgraded and it looked like the font was modified for seniors lol.
Whatever works. Thought it does look like I’ve traveled back to the 90s.

I reckon if RHP wanted to level up, they could leave some of the focus on text based interactions behind (but not get rid of it, I think it’s great) and move to include location based interaction. Like for those who opt in, a Pokémon Go kind of deal where an app can usher like minded people to similar venues or locations and people can suss each other out without pressure to connect. An added invisibility cloak for the ladies who don’t want to be noticed maybe, and easy block function. Or a line up 10 profiles/people near you and option to be quickly invisible to those you think are a clear no.
I think one of the main issues is that people online aren’t real. This makes people real

I’d like to see the new group function have a chat function within them. That way you can enjoy a more streamlined chat with those that share similar interests rather than the chatrooms being the only choice for chatting.

I'm liking the pop up box containing the "Privacy Policy", because so many don't fucking respect other people's privacy or understandwhat privacy is. Especially when it comes to this site. Having the pop up box is a really good reminder.
